Cleaning, banking, staging: new broker takes her next career step with The Best Bellingham Homes Team

BELLINGHAM, WA, November 19, 2021 –

What is the perfect career step for someone who has owned a professional cleaning service, worked in commercial banking, and gained an exceptional reputation for staging hard-to-sell homes? Becoming a broker, of course.

Taysia Seiler joins The Best Bellingham Homes Team for RE/MAX Whatcom County.

Even better? Taysia Seiler (pronounced sy-ler) is joining a RE/MAX Whatcom County team she admires.

“Sommer Cronck listed our Sudden Valley home, and Amy Bowhay helped us find our current one in Bow,” Taysia said. Of course, she’s talking about wrap-around expertise and ingenuity, signatures of The Best Bellingham Homes Team (bestbellinghamhomes.com).

“Buyer specialist, Amy Bowhay, showed me a lot of homes, just as the pandemic was starting,” Taysia described. “And Amy found us an absolute gem of a place in Bow Hill.”

Staging helps buyers envision not any house but their future home

After a great selling and buying experience, Taysia worked as a stager for Sommer, owner of The Best Bellingham Homes Team, and branch manager of RE/MAX of Whatcom County’s Sudden Valley office.

Staging helps buyers envision living in the home. Taysia knows the magic of doing this transformational work. “When we listed our home four years ago, the stagers came in and immediately walked out,” Taysia laughed. “They said, ‘Her home is great! She doesn’t need us.’”

“Our Bow Hill home is definitely a fixer,” Taysia explained, of the five acres she owns with her husband (who, of course, is a carpenter and can make Taysia’s design dreams reality). “I love doing kitchen overhauls, opening up the heart of the home.” Ticking off design trends like a true, do-it-yourself pro, she lately likes open shelving, great lighting, and natural fabrics.

And, while she has professionally staged and generously helped loved ones move, everyone kept telling her one thing: “You should get into real estate.”

Inspired by design—and heart

So, she did, choosing a boss who inspires. Describing Sommer, Taysia notably said first, “She’s a mom of four. And she’s a really successful broker with a good heart.” Taysia continued, “I’m excited about being on a team that is not just about money—but also about building a better community.”

Married to a carpenter who also did six years of active duty, Taysia’s passion is helping military families and first-time home buyers. “So many people think they cannot buy a home, especially in this market. But they can, and that’s the real value of using a professional broker.”

In Bow Hill, Taysia can be found with her two children (daughter Rylie, age 9, and son Logan, age 7), three big dogs, carpenter husband—all living their dream.

You can find Taysia at (360) 207-4241 and [email protected]

She can help you live your dream, too. And give you tips on how to finish and furnish it, like a pro.
